Features – Adding a Video & Pushing to YouTube + Demo Update

Hello!
So over the last few weeks Thomas and I have been working on redesigning/redeveloping the Video Manager in Couch Gamers. We needed to improve upon the previous design so we’ve listened to you guys (suggestion box) and we’ve integrated the option to push videos to YouTube, Vimeo etc.
As far as updating you guys in regards to a release, we’re preparing to release a demo by the end of the month. Hopefully we can pump out a live demo on www.customcms.net by January 5th, 2011! Stay tuned for a first live preview of Couch Gamers!
I like what I’m seeing. Seems you put a lot of work into that project. Can’t wait for the demo and beta!

Since I can log in to the new (and ugly) forum, because my passwords don’t work and the recover function is fubar.. gonna post my ideas here
1 – Too many clicks.
I hate having to update and click 10 times to do something that can be done in one go. Put all the options on the page from the beginning and refresh at the end.
2 – Save user and pass for youtube and other sites.
Don;t know if the feature is there but if I have to input the details everytime that is going to suck big time.
3 – There is a TON of wasted space (not only on video but on all of them).
You guys will probably leave it like that..so it’s gonna be up to us to make it better anyway

I noticed for the youtube upload that it was uploaded as a private video instead of public. Does this mean that all uploads through the site will by default go as private until we change it ourselves on our youtube account?
Are you going to add any options to make it upload as public? Not sure if it can be done or if that is just the way you have your youtube account setup.
You will be able to change that. We only posted as private for demo purposes!
