We’ve added an important feature to the CCMS to Couch Gamers Converter which allows old URL’s to be saved & setup as redirects towards the new Couch Gamers URL structure.

The CCMS Old URL Redirector runs during the CCMS Importing process. It parses the CCMS .htaccess file (which contains the old link structure) and creates proper redirects to the new Couch Gamers URL structure.

The following content types are recognized by the CCMS Old URL Redirector:

• Platform Pages
• Game Pages
• Faqs
• Company
• Cheat
• Article
• News
• Video Categories
• Videos
• Image Categories
• Images Galleries
• Files
• Blogs
• Information Pages
• Profiles

If you have indexed links on google or backlinks from other websites your content will be properly redirected to the new URL’s.
